In just a few short weeks, our garden owners will start to throw open their gates to welcome you in. The new season’s garden details are all now live on our website, https://www.ngs.org.uk/find-a-garden/ and the 2019 Sussex Gardens booklet is being printed as we speak. From the end of January, the booklet will be appearing in all the usual places - libraries, bookshops, garden centres and other local outlets. I can send you a copy, or arrange a bulk delivery for your group please do get in touch with me to organise this, if you haven't already. The funds raised from your visits to our gardens meant that in 2018, we were able to donate £3.1 million to our beneficiary charities. We are now the most significant charitable funder of nursing in the UK and our beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and The Queen’s Nursing Institute. Further information on the charities supported by the National Garden Scheme are published on our website.
